Preparation:- Select a clean and peaceful location for the Pooja.
Purification:- Take a bath and wear clean clothes.
Altar Setup:- Place an image or idol of Surya Dev (the Sun God) on the altar.
Lighting the Diya:- Light the diya and incense sticks to purify the atmosphere and invoke positive energies.
Invoking the Deity:- Offer prayers to Surya Dev, seeking His blessings. You can chant: "Om Suryaaya Namah"
Recitation of the Sahasranaam:- Begin the recitation of the Surya Sahasranaam. It can be done individually or with a group.
Offering Arghya:- It is traditional to offer water (arghya) to Surya during the recitation. You can do this by holding water in your palms and offering it toward the Sun (if done outdoors) or symbolically at the altar.
